Recycled sari ribbon is not new to a lot of people but I recently just fell in love with it.....the variations, the depth, the sheer scope of luscious colours. Silk is a natural fibre, and as such is really cosy, soft and warm . In winter it is a delight to wear and isnt tickly.
Now surrounded by bags of all hues of this material Im like a pig in mud. :)
I started with this peacock mix ...........
and it turned into this...........
A silk cowl with the addition of tassels, beads and a handcrafted button.

Wow!! now thats colour.
The tassels are handmade too, and are glossy cotton.
I will be adding this item, and others to my website very soon.
In the meantime just maybe lose yourself in the richness and luxuriant pics
